iCore is a two-day, hands-on exploration into iPad skill development, blank canvas apps, and classroom management techniques. Learn about innovative apps and uses for iPads in a 1:1 or shared environment. Explore strategies for expanding and deepening iPad usage by creating projects, digital portfolios, and workflow solutions. But most of all, iCore is unique. iCore offers a meaningful professional development experience by combining practical classroom applications, iPad and app skills, best practices for using iPads in the classroom, and a sense of humor. iCore is not about apps. It is about using the iPad to transform your classroom and to consider how iPads can infuse technology into your classroom pedagogy.
This one-day Immersion Workshop focuses on integrating technology as part of a humanities curriculum and exploring great resources to create a digital project for your class. We will also work with a variety of other useful sites for mind-mapping, storytelling, and timelining. Collaborate and create a project-based experience for your students.
