Why are these winning combinations?

The reason the combinations listed above are winning, is because when each row is converted into binary there is an equal number of ones in each column

Example 1.

1. row 1= I I = 2 sticks
2. row 2= I I I I I = 5 sticks
3. row 3= I I I I I I I = 7 sticks

When this is converted to binary it shows up as:
