Sample Paper about Bob Dylan and Larry Bird. This is a sample paper that will be double spaced in when done. TABs need to be pushed at the front of each paragraph. There are two quotes buried within this document that need to be made single spaced and flushed in one inch on each side. When you create this type of quote (singled spaced and flushed in) you do not use the quote symbols. Finally you will need to add two pictures from the Web one of Larry Bird and one of Bob Dylan citing your source of course by including the proper Web site that is not google images but the real Web site that the picture came from. The pictures need to be made to no bigger than inch tall or one inch wide and text needs to be wrapped around the picture.  Finally there are two instances in this paper of the CAPIQ rule being violated. CAPIQ stands for "commas and periods inside quotes." You need to find these occurrences and fix them. Please use the HEADER & FOOTER feature to include your name centered at the top of each page and the page number centered at the bottom. The font for the entire paper is Arial 12 point and the font for the two "captions" where you cite your sources using the INSERT text feature is Arial 6 point. Paragraph two begins here and will be about the folk singer Bob Dylan who was born on May 24th, 1941 in a town called Hibbing Minnesota. In one of his songs called Absolutely Sweet Marie, Dylan writes in five lines "Well, six white horses that you did promise Were fin'ly delivered down to the penitentiary But to live outside the law, you must be honest I know you always say that you agree But where are you tonight, sweet Marie ?" By the way, this song was   on the album "Blonde on Blonde" released in 1966.  Al Kooper has said that "nobody has ever captured the sound of three a.m. better than that album". Paragraph three begins here and is about the basketball player Larry Bird. Larry was born in French Lick, Indiana on December 7, 1956 and grew up in extreme poverty. In a 1988 interview with Sports Illustrated, Bird recalled how his mother would make do on the family's meager earnings: "If there was a payment to the bank due, and we needed shoes, she'd get the shoes, and then deal with them guys at the bank. I don't mean she wouldn't pay the bank, but the children always came first." The source for the information above is from the Web page of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Bird. Bird sometimes was sent to live with his grandmother due to the family's struggles. Bird told Sports Illustrated that being poor as a child "motivates me to this day". Paragraph four begins here and attempts to summarize all the things that you need to do to earn a good grade on this assignment. Have you made the paper doubled spaced? Have you created two instances of single spaced quotes flushed in?  Have you eliminated the quotes from these instances since when flushed in there is no need for the quote symbol? Have you found the two instances where CAPIQ is violated and have you fixed them, putting the commas or periods at the end of sentences inside the quotes?  Have you added two pictures, making sure that neither the height nor wide exceeds one inch? Have you cited the proper source for these pictures using something other than google images? Did you remember to use the HEADER and FOOTER feature and to change the font? Finally, have you done a search and replace to make sure there are no instances of two spaces in the document?
