Building Blocks from The Original Teaching Company

We started our company in 1982 and created these four "buildiing blocks". Twenty years later in 2002, we moved a few "country blocks" from Massachusetts to New York City. We brought our blocks with us ;-) Lynne Schalman and Steve Bergen

One Day Workshops
We have conducted our “starter workshop on hardware, software and humanware” at over 70 independent schools over the last 20 years.  Summercore
 Started in 1985, this 5 day workshop can be conducted at your school. We also offer several “open to everyone sessions” hosted at Horace Mann in New York City and Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg FL. Over 2500 teachers from several hundred schools have attended Summercore. This program is designed for the computer novice, intermediate users of technology, computer teachers, and administrators.  For schools in the greater NYC area, we are offering a unique opportunity that has proven successful for schools in the Boston area: Lynne Schalman will provide one day per week for the entire school year of on site “personal training” for your faculty.
