Background

I grew up in Kansas and attended the University of Kansas during the early 70's. I majored in Education. I graduated from college in 1972. I taught English and Journalism in Kansas City, Kansas, at Washington High School and Eisenhower Junior High School. I taught for a period of seven years. I interupted my teaching career for eleven years to begin a family. I have a husband and three wonderful girls. I returned to teaching in 1989 at Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City, Missouri. The last four years I have been the Primary School Computer Resource teacher.

Interests, Activities & Plans

I am always in the process of "upgrading" my computer skills. My main goal is to keep one step ahead of the children I teach!

Other Interesting Things

I am a big fan of the University of Kansas Jayhawks. I attend all home football and basketball games with my family. I enjoy reading, working with computers and being with my family.
